Dear NEMBC Members,
We are delighted to announce that the resolution to endorse the NEMBC’s new Constitution was unanimously passed at today’s Special General Meeting.
Thank you to all our members who supported this important initiative. Your engagement has helped pave the way for a fairer, more inclusive membership model.
We’re excited about what this means for the future of multicultural broadcasting. This change has been a long time coming, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and continued support throughout the process.
We look forward to sharing more information with you in early 2026 as we begin the transition from an Incorporated Association to a Company Limited by Guarantee, and establish the new membership structure and processes.
We would also like to take this opportunity to wish all our members and supporters a wonderful break. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Bodhi Day or another special event, we hope your end-of-year period brings rest and joy surrounded by those you care about.
Please note that the NEMBC will be closed from 22 December and will reopen on 5 January.
