Multicultural Voices Australia (MVA), formerly the National Ethnic & Multicultural Broadcasters’ Council (NEMBC), is proud to join BreastScreen Victoria’s Time to Screen campaign to distribute audio explainers in ArabicEnglishMandarin and Punjabi through the MVA network.

The initiative aims to increase awareness of breast cancer screening and ensure more people understand when they are eligible for a free breast screen. It highlights the importance of early detection, provides clear age-based guidance and supports communities with accessible, culturally informed information.

The ready-to-air audio grabs in all languages are also available as audiogram videos, making them easy to share across social media and online channels to reach multicultural audiences across Victoria.

A public Omny Studio audio playlist, with shareable links for both the full playlist and each language, is also available here.

The script for all languages is as follows:

“Think of all the hugs you still have to give, the memories you’ll make and the stories you still have to share. A breast screen can find cancer early, when it’s easiest to treat, so you can be there when it matters most. It’s free, ten minutes and always with a woman radiographer. Book your appointment today at breastscreen.org.au or call 13 20 50. Because it’s time to screen“.

These ready-to-air audio grabs and audiogram videos are now available for community radio stations and radio producers who wish to share the message to download, broadcast and share on digital platforms with their communities.
