As the NEMBC continues to evolve to better serve our Australian multicultural broadcasting community, we are officially launching our updated membership structure.

To ensure your program or station remains an active voice in our governance and future direction, we are asking all affiliated programs and stations to update their registrations via the NEMBC Membership Form.

Understanding the New Structure

The new model ensures that every program has a direct, individual link to the NEMBC. There are three primary membership categories:

  • Station Member: Each station may only have one Station Member. This person is the formal representative for voting and governance.
  • Program Representative Member: Each program may only have one Program Representative Member. This individual holds the allocated vote for that program.
  • Affiliate Member: All other broadcasters, volunteers, and contributors within a program or station should register as Affiliate Members.

Secure Your Voting Rights

Only Station Members and Program Representative Members are eligible to vote. To ensure your program’s voice is heard, it is vital to nominate your specific Representative Member to activate your vote.

Exclusive Benefit: NEMBC 2026 Brisbane Conference

Signing up as a paid member now provides immediate financial benefits for our upcoming national event. Members gain access to the Member Rate – EARLY BIRD for the NEMBC 2026 Brisbane Conference.

Note: Early Bird registration finishes on 24 April 2026. Register your membership now to take advantage of these significant savings before the deadline!
